Futurelink’s Math Camp incorporates activities that stimulate problem-solving skills and collaboration with other students. Students will learn new skills and improve their mathematical capabilities in a positive environment through engaging and interactive activities. Topics will include the number system, ratios, graphing, geometry, probability and statistics, and solving math riddles.
By the end of this camp, students will have gained understanding of:
- Number lines and how to apply math skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Finding the perimeter, area, and volume of a shape
- Ratios, fractions, decimals, percent, and how to perform conversions
- How to measure and calculate mean, median, and mode of a data set
